It’s the most wonderful time of the year and, after twelve long months of hard work and dedication from Team ESco, we wanted to spread a bit of festive cheer throughout Trinity House.

Introducing the first ever ESco “Advent-tivities” calendar! An advent calendar which was distributed to every member of our wonderful team with a special festive treat on every day in the lead up to Christmas for them to enjoy.

It started with the arrival of our annual Christmas tree, and chocolates and mince pies were stocked up in every department. The team then got to decorating the office, which soon became a winter wonderland of paper chains, baubles and even a cardboard creation of a gingerbread house, courtesy of the IT department.

Other activities included a “Hot Chocolate Challenge”, where everyone set out to make the most impressive-looking hot chocolate. Congratulations to Laura Perry from our Account Management team for winning the challenge with her fantastically crafted whipped cream snowman!

Festive favours were delivered to each person’s desks on three mornings of December, giving Team ESco a chocolate treat or candy cane to enjoy with their morning cup of coffee. And, of course, our beloved “Sherry Run” made its return on several days of the month, bringing hot mulled wine, sherry and stollen bites to everyone – a highlight of the Christmas period at ESco.

We rounded off the festivities with our annual Christmas party on Friday 17th December 2021, hosted at The Fox in Finchingfield – something which was greatly missed last year. The team came together to celebrate a long year of hard work and success over a delicious sit-down meal, a fantastic live band, the ESco “Staff Christmas Awards” and some BandAid-themed karaoke to round off the night.

The month of December has been filled with festive fun and treats for our staff in the hope to create a truly special, Christmas atmosphere at Trinity House. We would like to wish each and every member of Team ESco a very Merry Christmas and the happiest New Year, which we hope to spend together.
