ESco attends The Publishing Show 2023
On Wednesday 1st March 2023, we sent a team from ESco to ExCeL London ahead of a very exciting two-day conference and exhibition – The Publishing Show, courtesy of Mash Media Group Ltd. This was our third year as an exhibitor at this annual event and Louise, Alistair and John were in attendance for ESco.
As in previous years, The Publishing Show was a perfect opportunity to increase our brand awareness, and learn more about industry challenges. We always find it a great way to connect with old friends, as well as network and make new connections.
In addition to the exhibition and workshops, there were four content stages, with a variety of key thought leaders in publishing and media covering:
- The Future of Publishing
- AdTech and Revenue Theatre
- Developing Audiences Theatre
- Future of the Newsroom
Included in the programme was ESco’s very own Operations & Development Director, Alistair Wood, who took to the stage on the second day of the event to talk about “Trends in the Subscription Economy”.
As the subscription economy continues to grow, Alistair highlighted some of the trends ESco have seen while working with publishers big and small. From strategies for growing communities, to key trends in successful processing, building a CDP (Customer Data Platform) to managing data privacy, Alistair presented a whistle-stop tour of all the major trends to keep an eye on.
