ESco are now officially live with our brand-new client, Aquila, to fulfil their shop orders – so we’re talking all things back issues, binders, welcome letters and books and posting them out to subscribers on a daily basis.

Owned and run by New Leaf Publishing Ltd, a small independent publishing house situated in the coastal town of Eastbourne, Aquila is the sole publication from this family-run company. The title was established in 1993 and is targeted at curious minds from the ages of eight through to thirteen years old.

Their focus is to bring fun to science, history and general knowledge through absorbing articles and beautiful illustrations in every monthly issue. Although Aquila is a children's publication, adults also enjoy reading it too (meaning that it is actually thought to be suitable for anyone from the age of eight through to eighty)!

Each issue of Aquila is carefully tailored to offer their valued readers:

  • Advanced reading and cool science for readers aged eight years and upwards
  • Exciting monthly topics with stimulating projects, challenges and puzzles
  • Self-motivated learning beyond the classroom, inspired by the publication

Aquila have also published several special edition hardback books and sell an exclusive binder for proudly displaying subscription copies and keeping them stored in pristine condition.

ESco started working for Aquila in September 2021, taking on the responsibility of despatching their first issues, back issues, books and binders.

We are thoroughly enjoying working alongside our wonderful new client on the distribution of such a beautiful publication and look forward to the prospect of helping them with other areas of their business in the future.

We have been working with ESco for a short time, but already they feel like good friends and part of our working team. Knowing they are always there at the end of the phone or email and their enthusiasm to help us explore new ideas to expand our business further fills us with confidence. We are really looking forward to our future with ESco.

Olivia Bryant-Funnell, Director at Aquila
