Since 2003 ESco has been an accredited Investors in People employer.  As a bureau it’s something we take very seriously.  You can have the best subs management software, the most advanced hardware and the slickest website, but in the final analysis it’s our people that are our greatest asset and that set us apart from our competitors.  So we do it to measure how effectively our recruitment program and our internal and external training are working, how our equal opportunities policies are received and to measure staff morale and motivation and whether we’re providing the right opportunities for people to develop a long term career at ESco.

In short how is management shaping up for our people and how are our people shaping up for our clients?

Accreditation takes the form of an independent assessment every three years and ESco went through our most recent assessment in March this year and we seem to be making progress.  The summary included the following comments from the assessor.

"The focus on continuous improvement and development came across very strongly within the assessment and staff engagement within this process is equally strong.

As a company you are extremely good at getting the right person in the right role, and you have got better at this. People are now developing their potential in a way which is benefitting the performance of the business.

…..The interviews revealed the level of staff morale and motivation is very high. You have a very committed and engaged workforce, one that many other companies would envy."

Thank you to all the wonderful people at ESco who have contributed to this glowing outcome.  Rest assured that we will not be resting on our laurels, you are vital to the future of ESco and the success of our clients.  We will ensure that you continue to develop and thrive rising to the new challenges in supporting our clients and your own career progress.
