Merry Christmas from ESco
To you – our clients, partners and friends
At Christmas time…
**
Well what a year! A year indeed, a year we won't forget
The year that we ran ESco – over the internet
Whilst teaching maths and science, (we left PE to Joe)
Wearing zoom friendly attire – PJ bottoms? No-one will ever know.
**
And our office has seen changes too, with alcohol aplenty
Alas, just hand sanitiser, the "must have" item of 2020.
The year that virtual meetings became the number one trend
Are we sad to see this year coming to an end?
**
Well, it's certainly been a tricky one, but we've still seen such success
Despite social distancing, working together is what we do best.
We're looking to the future and to a much healthier New Year,
But for now, it's time to celebrate with lots of festive cheer.
**
Now – we've been searching for the perfect way, to share what's on our heart
which is that much harder to demonstrate when we're two metres apart…
So we send (with love) this virtual Christmas card, to friends near and far,
Wishing you the merriest of Christmases, no matter where you are.
*****
As you may remember, we at ESco are firm believers that Christmas is "love in action". This year, it feels more important than ever to put the belief into practice.
For a large part of the year, we've been asked to "stay safe – stay at home".
But for some, that sadly wasn't an option.
That's why this year we've made a donation to a very special local charity, who are working harder than ever to provide a safe place for those who need it most.
Hope House Essex is a charity that works tirelessly all year round to help break the cycle of homelessness by providing temporary accommodation and support for homeless adults. Established in 2012, this small team respond to the level of homelessness in Braintree and are reliant on donations from the local community, businesses and grants.
The kind donation from ESco will be used to help with the needs of our present and past residents. Thank you very much for your donation which will help us to reduce the cycle of homelessness.
So in true 2020 fashion, we are sending a socially distanced Merry Christmas to you all, from your friends at Trinity House to wherever you may be. Thank you for partnering with us this year and, despite the challenges we have all faced, it gives us great pleasure in knowing that we have never been stronger as a team.
We are wishing for a happy and healthy new year, filled with plentiful opportunities and successes for us all. Here's to 2021, and all the joy it may bring.
If you would like to support Hope House Essex and help to break the cycle of homelessness, you can find out how to here.
